Filipe Marques is today representing MEDEL Magistrats Europeens pour la Democratie et les Libertes at the “Defence of Democracy Focus Group Meeting with Legal professionals”, organised by the European Commission, in preparation of the “Defence of Democracy package”, mentioned in the Commission Work Programme for 2023, that will include an initiative on the protection of the EU democratic sphere from covert foreign influence.
