MEDEL was present at the international conference of the Association of Prosecutors of Serbia.
The conference explored the topic of prosecutors facing pressures and attacks in their work, providing a forum for exchanging experiences and views on mechanisms for responding to undue influence.
Mariarosaria Guglielmi took part in the opening session to speak about formal and informal strategies for attacking the independence of public prosecutors, and the commitment of judges, prosecutors and their associations in the defence of rule of law values.
