Medel and its member association, Magistratura democratica, held in Rome the international conference “Europe in the context of the global attack on the Rule of law and international law- Defending the Rule of law in Europe and the US: the testimony of lawyers, judges and prosecutors”
On 13 March 2026, Medel held its Council of Administration.
European judges and prosecutors gathered to discuss global attacks on democracy and Rule of law and to support Italian judges and prosecutors facing the risks of a reform that seeks to change the entire constitutional framework protecting the independence of the judiciary and High Council.
