Paulo Lona represented Medel at the 21st Plenary meeting of the Consultative Council of European Prosecutors of the Council of Europe.
The debate included developments in Member States in the area of prosecution reforms and independence of prosecutors.
The plenary session adopted Opinion No. 21 (2026) on providing support and safeguards for prosecutors in order to enable an efficient prosecution service.
