MEDEL participates in the Rafto Foundation project, which aims to share the lessons learned from these years of democratic regression in Europe and Poland.
Mariarosaria Guglielmi – president of Medel, together with Iver Ørstavik – Senior Adviser at the Rafto Foundation for Human Rights, Dorota Zabłudowska – Vice president of EAJ, Paulina Kieszkowska, co-founder of the civil society organization Wolne Sądy/Free Courts, and John Dalhuisen, Senior Fellow at European Stability Initiative met in Paris from 8 to 10 July with representatives of judicial associations and bar associations to share views on the current challenges to the Rule of law and judicial independence in Europe and its member states.
