On June 13, 2026 MEDEL held its Council of Administration in Bilbao, Spain.
European judges and prosecutors met to discuss developments for democracy and the rule of law in Europe, in national contexts and at global level.
Against the backdrop of the challenges posed by current migration policies, they reaffirmed their commitment to the defense of the fundamental rights of all persons and of the vision of Europe as a community based on the primacy of rights and the rule of law.
